Director, Sam Cannell - Internet Marketing and Organisational Specialist
Sam (the founder of Versatile Assistant) has over seven years experience at senior PA level and has worked in several high pressure environments. Sam has a law degree from the Flinders University of South Australia and has vast experience in dealing with highly confidential matters. Sam is committed to ensuring that all of Versatile Assistant’s Virtual Assistants provide assistance to the highest standards ensuring integrity and professionalism at all times.
Sam specialises in Internet Marketing Support including the use of social media like Facebook and Twitter. Sam is an organisational extraordinaire so diary and event management are her forte. Sam works with clients in Australia and also those clients abroad who would like an international assistant.

Virtual Assistant and Recruitment Expert, Anne Johnson
Anne Johnson, an accomplished Personal Assistant, became a Licensee of Versatile Assistant on 1st May 2009 and is operational as Executive Services Manager in the North of England. Highly qualified in Management, Business & Administration, Anne is a Chartered Manager and holds membership of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Having worked at Senior Executive level for a number of professional organisations, both in the public and private sector, Anne can offer a wealth of experience in her field comprising a Recruitment Service, comprehensive Personal Assistant (PA) service, Secretarial and Administration services, Event Organisation, Project and Lifestyle Management. Anne provides an on-site PA service for clients in Northern England.
Licensee Virtual Assistant, Carolyn Byers
Carolyn Byers became a Licensee of Versatile Assistant on 1st July 2009 and is operational as our international Virtual PA as Carolyn currently resides in Lisbon, Portugal. Carolyn will also be working as a Virtual PA to clients in her native Scotland. Carolyn has over eleven years experience as an Executive Assistant with the last seven of these worked at senior level. Carolyn spent the last 2 years working while abroad for her former international employer so she is very familiar with ‘virtual’ working practices.

Associate Specialist – Graphic Designer, Heidi Sinclair
Heidi Sinclair, Graphic Designer
After starting her career in the retail sector, Heidi moved to the Geneva area where she lived and worked as a self-employed artisan for several years. On returning to the UK in 1996 Heidi gained her experience working mainly for corporate businesses and found her niche in creative design. Offering graphic services which focus on clean, clear designs, Heidi has worked on major advertising campaigns, as well as providing graphic and web design services to small businesses in both the UK and Europe.
Associate Specialist – Search Engine Optimisation, Matt Watkins
Matt’s exposure to the power of the internet began when he ran online surveys for a large market research organisation back in 2002. He loved the immediate response and ease with which you could access participants. Now Matt is a full time internet marketer and as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing he demonstrates that he is right up to date with the latest web-marketing trends. Matt has experience running SEO campaigns for small businesses and large organisations such as the British Council, and he can help you ‘own’ those keywords that could transform your business.
